Yarboro Prison is the primary correctional facility in the city of Cielis. The prison is run by the Cielis Guard and is said to be unescapable.
History[]
During Max Griffin's youth, Layra's family were incarcerated by orders from Max's father, Roy, who feared that they were spies for the Elf King. Max later orchestrated their escape but they died during the attempt.
When Emily and company arrived in Cielis, Trellis and Luger were taken to Yarboro Prison asthey were Elves. The Cielis Guard, as illusions created by the Mother Stone, also incarcerated all humans who had been cursed with the appearance of animals, as well as jailing many residents for treason.
In the end, Leon and Trellis found out that the prison was used to power a spell that revives those who have been deceased and that members of the Council were illusions formed from the Mother Stone. The prison guards who guarded the prison were these illusions, and after the Max leaves Cielis with the Mother Stone, the illusions break and the prisoners are freed.
