Max's stone is an extremely powerful. It is capable of performing the stonekeeping basics, but also is capable of animating stone, retaining his youths and taking control of others' bodies. These powers can be assumed to be as a result of that Max gave control to the stone after escaping prison. Max's stone has the same symbol as Emily's stone, although colored blue. Max's Stone also has a voice, just like Emily's. However, when asked about this by the Elf King, Max denies it vigorously.
