The Crawler Hounds are a giant, canine-like species/creature and mount. They are typically used as mounts for a form of transportation and offense by the Army of Gulfen and can quickly or instantaneously carry them to their routes and destination.
Crawler Hounds appear in Book 2: The Stonekeeper's Curse. They are used by Trellis and Luger as well as other members of the Elf Army when they pursue Emily throughout the story. Near the end of the novel, A Crawler Hound is used in combat when Luger attacks Emily alongside it, but Emily is able to defeat it.
Design[]
They resemble their appearance as large, mutt-monsters with downy medium-blue-gray fur, glowing Alice-blue eyes with furrowed eyebrows, sleek miniature onyx noses, six legs (like an insect) with razor-sharp claws, shiny, sharp ivory teeth, and long furry tails.
