Who Am I? (fic)
For so long, I have wondered about my purpose in our mission to save Alledia. Emily and the others have assured me time and time again that they forgave me and that what I did wasn't my fault. But still, I can't help but feel guilty. They don't trust me; they never have and they never will, and it showed by the fact that none of them listen to me. I walked outside my room and onto the ledger, leaning against the metal railing; the wind blowing through my snowy white hair made the silence a little more bearable.
I sighed.
My father always told me to be grateful that I'm useful or he would've killed me years ago. I don't remember what happened to my mother, but I wish my childhood was as great as Emily's was before her father died. Maybe then,…
We need to fix the wiki
This wiki has been hurt a lot by Fanon pages and ship pages. There are still some users normally editing (which is good) but this wiki has a lot of stuff not needed and wrong that I can’t fix all by myself. So please, PLEASE, if you see anything that is wrong, just remove it. Do it is that is what your gut says, if this is a minor character page, don’t remove it, but major? Yep I’m pretty sure it is wrong,
Picking admins
Hello everyone,
I've noticed that this wiki doesn't seem to have any admins, and that concerns me. The Amulet series isn't even finished, and the wiki really needs some cleaning up and refurbishing.
Basically, does anyone here ant to be an admin for this wiki? I'm hoping someone who's at least some kind of veteran here and knows what they're doing can pick up the title, but I can if nobody's willing...
Hello?
Hi? Is anyoooooooooooooooooooooooone on here???? Well, if anyone is interested, im starting a live chat on friday, at 1:00 P.M. CA time.
Why is barely Anyone Active here?

Roleplay
I have created a roleplay discord for all that love the AMULET series and want to get more interactive with it, It is still new as of now so the first few people most likely will get great positions.

Summer Read-Through
Hello, Wiki!
I am going to re-read the Amulet series over the next month or so and write up my thoughts in blog posts. I hope that you will be inspired to read the series again and comment on my posts. If there is something especially you would like me to discuss, let me know!

The cursed replie.Status:frustrated
The computer war has begun! I will type and finish this replie!
(Several hours/days later)
I declare this absolutely impossible! I'm done! Completely out of intelligence, caring, and if you can believe it humor! Curse you ,technology! You have done what I thought was impossible! You stole my sarcasm!
Backstory:
All I wanted to do was replie to a few questions! Was that so much to ask?
According to my computer yes,yes it was.
The questions in question were (good) ones from Unikan in response to my comment on his discussion board / latest theory:What is the Voice and who it serves(I would totally recommended checking it out ,here's the link for anyone having trouble finding it on this wiki :http://amulet.wikia.com/wiki/Thread:5421) So of course when…
RANTATBOOK FOUND!No need for any type of reward!
Firstly I hope no one wasted a search party on me since I'm back along with a renewal of sarcasm and energy at least for now until someone discovers something more difficult than life or even worse: infoboxes (which as most people know I place in special category in my heart known as the formerly worst idea ever thought up besides broccoli category!). The reason for my disappearance unfortunately does not include aliens or anything that remotely exciting but that I've just been completely swamped with things to do with school resuming at the end of this month as well as trying to finish/look at my ELA assignment that seems to have been designed for first graders two milliseconds straight without just completely losing my mind at the pure r…
Blog number:?
Firstly as some could possibly tell by the title, this is starting with me making fun of my mistake with the numbering on my recent blogs which I meant to get to yesterday had I not somehow managed to delete the whole page without saving it(Yep my computer went back to hating me,how it manages this being an inanimate object I have no idea but just for me it finds a way!Let's just hope it doesn't happen this time.).So here's my apology for that mess up,no it wasn't some elaborate trick to see if anyone was paying attention to how many blogs I actually wrote(I clearly wasn't!)or have the numbers create some sort of sensical code,I actually made a mistake once in my life, amazingly(Though in my defense I might have wanted to forget one ever ha…
Luck.
Well I think I just discovered the most pointless award yet. It's the Lucky Edit,so pointless I didn't know it existed till now!I mean yeah I randomly just earned a hundred points for doing what practically everyone else on the website is doing! Oh no I'm sorry I was LUCKIER than them. Big whoop. Sorry if that sounds both sarcastic and ungrateful, but I don't think I can sound otherwise when talking about this. Seriously it isn't even a personal or even valid accomplishment. If anyone should get an award for that it's the universe for making 5,000 a number.Good job universe, you did good by not self imploding when 1 became a number, great job.👍👏🙌Ok but seriously its practically like cheating to me. Honestly I could have just added a random no…
Biography Pages
Hello! I'd like to use this blog to braisntorm: what should a biography page include and what should it NOT include? I feel that biographies should not be event by event summaries of the plot where the biography's character is concerned, but that seems to be a lot of what Emily and Trellis' pages ARE. Any thoughts? I'm looking at you Rantatbooks
Blog 5
Wow just reread my last blog and I have to say i truely think that might have my dullest contribution yet. Staring at the small print for so long must have caused my brain to became temporarily unresponsive. Either that or caused me to be afflicted with boredom. However being one of the few people with both plenty of criticism and positivity I recover fairly quickly. So today the topic I'm going with is what makes a good book? And this list applies to any book of any genre. Deep characters. You could have written the most wonderful story in the history of humanity, but if the characters are flat as paper,I'm not going to buy into it. Reason being I can't relate to any of the characters. People have reasons and make mistakes. As long as you …
One thousand words a million to go.
Just took a break from editing the Trellis page which to say the least needs a bit of work on.I just finished seven paragraphs and I still don't seem any closer to being done! I'd never thought I'd ever seen the day I prefer working on infobox to editing!Espically about one day after I went on a few page long ramble about it!😅Well at least if there's a bright side to any of this(yes I can be positive, positively out of it!)I'm getting A LOT of practice! At LEAST three pages of it!In other words HELP!No seriously if you on this wiki PLEASE check out the Trellis OR Emily page(I've yet to check out the Emily page though I've heard it also needs work too!).Also to my knowledge I'm most likely going to be offline all Saturday and Sunday this week…
SUCESS!
Ok so everyone knows how I said i was done with Infoboxes? While first i have to apologize for being misleading.Orignally I had the full intent never to look, see, hear,or attempt an infobox again or anything to do with it.However as I was scrolling through the most popular pages and checking the links as i usually do,one of the pages was the Vigo Light page which is a source only page and has a completed Infobox.Though of course i didn't know that and clicked on it as usually. When i saw it was in Source my first reaction was then to click out of it.Immedately.Before i came down with a possibly deadly allergic attack to infoboxes. However either my more logial or crazy side decided to continue either to torture me ,or to see what help i could …
EDITING
Did some editing tonight and added a few pictures. There are some major changes that need to happen to the pages of.....TRELLIS AND EMILY! In quite a few of the character biographies, I feel that the "history" section is just summarizing everything the character ever did in the series. And that's not wrong, but I just feel some of it isn't as important or, that instead of summarizing the things that happened to them, we could state the events that revealed their personality or that influenced them or yadayadayada I'm too tired.
So look forward to that.
Update: I just read more of Trellis' page. If someone wants to GET ON THAT THAT"D BE GREAT THANKS LET"S GO TEAM
Rant 3
Sorry for the lack of creativity in the title, but my brain is completely fried. Before i begin i have to give a shout-out to the user Mayor Riva who being completely awesome rewrote the whole Tristan Hunter page in its an entirely to complete perfection while i was off being a pessimist,so if anyone else is on here definitely check out her page and give her a heads up as i probably wouldn't have time to blog otherwise👏 👍😁(She definitely deserved three emojis for that and just for being so completely awesome)So how my brain got fried. One word:Infoboxes. The idea seems simple enough doesn't it?Just organize a bunch of information into a neat little chart. But no it is NOT.Not only do you have to put it in some difficult code but also there's…
Fanart
I love fanart. Any kind of fanart. I really hope to see more for Amulet! But the actual, cannon art is so incredible....we are so lucky!!!
QUESTION
So I know we can upload pictures to this site, but is there a way we can link stuff, like from Deviantart? Cause I don't want to just download someone else's work and then re-post it here.
Wikia:Game or writing
Day three(Still getting over the fact my device helid up that long!) and I'm completely addicted to Wikia editing. No, admittedly I haven't figured out even half of the settings but I'm sure I will by the next millennium (Honestly, what's up with those template codes in a different language?! 😕Isn't it hard enough trying to learn Spanish?!😦).Now,I know this may sound werid considering its a resource website ,but I can't help comparing it to a videogame.Complete a task, get an award and level up Bronze,Silver and Gold style.I mean we even have a leaderboard for whose contributed most during the week! Not to mention I get to talk with some awesome people who manage to put up with my jabbering(Not a small feat considering I am a ranter,AMAZINGLY,…
First blog
Hello Wikia! Just created some new pages: Colossus Program and Firebrand. They suck but to quote Vigo, we all gotta start somewhere. If anyone knows how to get a picture set up with either of these pages, please let me know how. I'm gonna give it another go in the morning. Also, if anyone has any input/ideas on HOW these pages could be formatted, I heop that you'll just go for it and edit them. I am unashamedly new to this site. Off to go read Book 6 again. Ciao for now.
Let the writing commence!
Wow so far so good I've managed a total of ten miloseconds without accidentally finding the self destruct button my computer as I did with my other devices that didn't even HAVE a self destruct button which is completely mindblowing!😮Hope my luck lasts for the next second since a minute would be far too much to hope for!
News & Updates: Amulet 8 Enters Early Production; Art Prints Now Available on Gallery Nucleus
Oi! How's everyone? If you keep up with Mr. Kibuishi's Twitter feed, you should know that Amulet 8 has now entered the early stages of its production. This means Amulet 7 is now at a point where it's pretty much complete and ready to be sent off to an editor for publishing. Looks like he also aims to change up his creative methods to produce pages at a steadier rate. Good on you, Kazu! Amulet 7 will be released on February 23.
Moreover, for those able to shell out $30 a piece, Kazu has confirmed that Gallery Nucleus (which is also the place of his former employment, in case you didn't know) have posted up art prints for Amulet page spreads on their online store. Check it out!
Personal Introduction
Hello. My name is Sophia, and I would like to let you know a bit about myself. First things first, I am a fangirl. Or, perhaps the term fanlady is better, because I hold myself with a bit of class. My fandoms include, Avatar: The Last Airbender, by Mike DiMartino, and Bryan Koneitzco Avatar: The Legend of Korra, also by Mike and Bryan Gravity Falls, by Alex Hirsch Steven Universe, by Rebecca Sugar Percy Jackson and the Heroes of Olympus, by Rick Riordan Percy Jackson and the Olympians, also by Rick Riordan The Kane Chronicals, also by Rick Riordan The Amulet Series, by Kazu Kibuishi
News & Updates: Cover for Book 7 Unveiled!
That's right, folks! Some of you may have already seen the new cover if you keep up with Kazu's Twitter feed, but for those of you who haven't seen it, here it is in all its red glory. He also told us that the book will be released Spring 2016.
I would've preferred some characters other than Emily, Trellis and Vigo on the cover, but we do get to see The Voice behind them and that's pretty awesome since this marks his/her/its first appearance on a volume cover. Love the red glow. I notice all of the Amulet books have a general color scheme and I just know it'll look sexy once all of them are placed together. There's also a city in the background. Due to similarities in appearance, I assume this is Valcor (where Trellis is taken to see the El…
News & Updates: Kazu's Progress Report on Amulet 7
Last Thursday, Kazu gave us a little "progress report" on the next book in the Amulet series via Twitter. He stated that he will be working "around the clock" for the next two months and that the book has been a challenge to produce. A few months ago, Kazu answered a fan's question and told us that the next book should be released around early 2016. Fortunately (or unfortunately), the year seems to be going by rapidly.
Looking at the picture of Kazu's work desk, it seems that he has made impressive progress on the new book. (Is that Max in one of the panels? I might be wrong.)
What do you hope will happen at the end of Amulet Series?
What do you guys think will happen at the end of book 9?
I hope that Emily, Navin and Karen are able to go home and carry on a normal life or maybe the elves will retreat back to Gulfen and all the cites in Alledia will turn into a normal life. I also hope that the people of Kanalis will be freed from the curse of the transformation of animals.
What do you hope will happen?
WARNING TO ALL WIKI CONTRIBUTORS!
PLEASE TAKE THE TIME TO READ THIS!
Before we jump to any conclusions, none of you are in any kind of trouble. I need to get a very important point across and need all of you to heed this advice as it is extremely necessary -- especially for those who haven't read any of the Wiki Rules. (In fact, if you haven't read those, do so now.)
Anyone who's experienced the ins and outs that Wikia has to offer should know that any wiki with a sizable community is threatened by trolling and/or vandalism of its contents at least once. The Amulet Wiki has been subject to trolls and vandalism a few times in the past (and likely in the forseeable future, so as long as manchildren continue to exist), but thankfully, nothing X-rated has appeared on this wiki thu…
News & Updates: Amulet Book 7 Comes Out Early 2016!
Credit to Wikia contributor Bonestudios15 for finding this wonderful piece of information. (Sorry, Bones, for accidentally deleting your original blog post! Was it deleted? I'm not sure because the link keeps directing me to some weird profile page.)
Anyway, a release for early 2016 was confirmed by Kazu yesterday in response to a fan's tweet. (I assume that fan is also you, Bonestudios? If so, great job in asking that question!) I suppose we can expect the new book in January? Maybe February? I can hardly wait!

News & Updates: Prototype Amulet Revealed by Kazu
Kazu has recently revealed an artwork of Amulet he made from about 16 years ago! The mushrooms are reminiscent of Super Mario and the aesthetic is quite similar to his webcomic Copper. It's really interesting to see how Kazu has progressed as an artist. I can only imagine what Amulet would have been if he had presented the original drafts to a publisher all those years ago.
Anyway, here it is! Thoughts?
Recommendations: Jeff Smith's Bone
Hello? Hello? This wiki's been very quiet as of late... I'm starting to get worried! I haven't really posted anything in awhile and I said I'd be creating recommendation blog posts for you folks – the ever-so-radiant wiki contributors. You must be thinking: "Wow, it's not like anyone actually reads these!" In fact, you're probably not thinking that right now because you're not even reading this... right? Whatever.
In any case, if you're a fan of Amulet, no doubt you like... fantasy? Adventure? An engrossing plot with quirky and lovable characters? Maybe you just like comic books? I'm willing to bet that most of the readers for Amulet have already heard about Jeff Smith's equally brilliant series Bone, but maybe you haven't heard of it and that's wh…
News & Updates: Kazu Kibuishi Confirms Length of Amulet Series
Yes, folks. After a while of uncertainty, Kazu Kibuishi has recently confirmed that the Amulet series will be concluding with the ninth book.
Don't believe me? See for yourself.
Assuming Kazu keeps up the previous "one-book-a-year" trend (excluding the hiatus between Prince of the Elves and Escape From Lucien), that's a good three more years of Amulet! This also means that the series will have reached an almost ten-year run. That might warrant either boisterous cheering or an exasperated sigh from readers, but I – for one – look forward to more.

News & Updates: Book 6 official release TOMORROW (August 26)!
Tomorrow (August 26) is the official release of Book 6: Escape From Lucien! Some people (like me) have already managed to read or get ahold of the book through advance reader copies and special events.
If you haven't already seen my review of the book and don't want any spoilers, I will say that at least four new characters are introduced, including a female elf mayor named Riva and a robot named General Pil. As Kazu stated, the book also reaches some closure on Max's story arc.
Please note that the What do you want to see in Book 6? discussion thread will be closed soon after the release date. Good luck, and hope you all enjoy the long-awaited new book!
News & Updates: Amazon Releases "Look Inside" Option For New Book
Guess what? You know how I estimated that Amazon's preview for Escape From Lucien would appear about a month before the release date? Well... I was right! Check it out, but be warned, as these are quite a handful of pages and spoilers will follow. Kazu's art seems to have changed a bit, and that's to be expected from a two-year gap since the debut of the previous book. We also get to see an interesting dynamic between Navin, Alyson, and the other students.
News & Updates: Page & Process Revealed, Book 6 Review Details
Graphix (Scholastic's graphic novel subset) used Tumblrrecently to unveil a new page and Kazu's personal development process. If you currently own a Tumblr, don't forget to give them a follow for any more updates in the future. Anyway, thanks to this image, we know two things: 1) Kazu has introduced something new called S.C. code, and 2) there are two more kids accompanying Alyson and Navin. Not entirely sure what S.C. code is or if these two characters will serve a bigger purpose in the story, but Kazu nonetheless gives us very interesting information.
Moving on, Kazu also shared a link to a review by an Associate Professor of Literacy at the University of North Florida and a reader of comic books named Dr. Katie Monninon the new book "Esc…
News & Updates: Identity of Female Elf Confirmed?
I was recently browsing through reviews on Goodreads, hoping to have found someone that managed to get a hold of an early copy of the book, Escape From Lucien. As luck would have it, a reviewer named Nori did just that recently. Her blog can be found here.
I assume to avoid spoiling the story, she gives us pretty much details we've already been given over the past few months. However, Nori also adds that her new favorite character is an "elf girl mayor" that she found to be "so cool". I assume this is the character in the backdrop of the book's cover. Looks like my hopes for such a character have been fulfilled, so yippee!
I also assume this is the mayor of Lucien, but I could probably be wrong.
Thoughts?
News & Updates: Kazu Introduces Book 6, Pages Revealed
After the cover of Escape From Lucien was revealed to us, not much news has made its way to fans. To break the silence, however, Kazu Kibuishi has recently upload a video introducing us to Amulet 6, sharing a few more details about the book and showcasing a handful of pages. According to Kazu, the book will focus quite a bit on Navin's character and give us a lot of the robot fighting action many fans have been waiting for, but will also see an "interesting conclusion" to Max Griffin's story. I assume the book will also wrap up many questions concerning The Voice.
By the looks of it, Kazu's art has really improved and the colors are significantly more vibrant than in previous installments. We're also given this beautiful two-page spread th…
News & Updates: Interview with Kazu Kibuishi
Earlier this month, Chris Arrant of Comic Book Resources interviewed Kazu Kibuishi, asking questions about his career and his most recent progress. Check it out. We managed to get a few interesting tidbits about the series, including the following excerpt:
Q: I remember you once saying your initial contract for the Amulet series was only for five books. Can you talk about being at the point that it’s successful enough – and you’re still creatively fulfilled by it – to keep going to six and beyond?
A: I could probably draw Amulet books forever, but there is definitely a clear story arc coming to an end very soon. The current contract is for seven books, and if the story looks like it needs to end there, that is what’s going to happen. When I …
News & Updates: Physical Copy of Escape From Lucien confirmed
It's been awhile since I've posted any updates, as there hasn't been much news in recent weeks. This is mostly because Kazu is busy touring, speaking at different events and locations, as well as getting Book 6 released and the next Explorer anthology completed. He currently has quite a bit on his plate.
Recently, however, he managed to give us a picture of a physical copy he received from his editors.
As you can see, this is an uncorrected proof and is not for sale. An uncorrected proof, in case you're wondering, is a copy of a book that hasn't yet gone through the final steps of correction and editing. Kazu usually receives these in advance before the final copy sees fruition.
This, however, means that the entirety of the book (aside from a fe…
News & Updates: Length of "Escape From Lucien" Expectation from Author
Ever since Kazu posted the cover to Escape From Lucien a month ago, news on the series has been a bit slow. However, new information has been brought to light by author Kazu Kibuishi via (once again) Twitter. Kazu states that he expects the finished book to be about 224 pages long (with 212-214 pages of story content), which would disclaim the previous estimation of 256 pages that Amazon released.
Also, it's almost longer than Jeff Smith's Bone now!
News & Updates: No Gabilan in Escape From Lucien
When will Gabilan return? That has honestly been the question on my mind for so long.
Well, thankfully, that question was answered recently by Kazu.
Not so thankfully, he won't be showing up in Escape From Lucien, meaning it'll be at least a year before we see his character again. Gabilan hasn't made an appearance since The Cloud Searchers, if you can't recall.
Recommendations: The WondLa series
The WondLa series is a very enthralling science-fiction fantasty that I definitely recommend.
I read the first two books, The Search for WondLa and A Hero for WondLa, back in January 2012. I ate them up in a period of under one week. Tony DiTerlizzi (author of the Spiderwick Chronicles) really delivers in this story. The illustrations are also very detailed and amazing.
(Check out my review at Goodreads!)
News & Updates: Escape From Lucien Cover Revealed
As promised, Kazu revealed the cover for Escape From Lucien on his Twitter just now!
In all it's amazing glory, folks.
Okay, as I suspected from examining the thumbnail, there's Vigo, Emily, and Trellis. The Colossus mech behind them is also holding Navin, Cogsley, and Alyson, which couldn't be seen in the thumbnail.
And again, I do believe I was correct in speculating that the elf in the backdrop is, in fact, a new character. Judging by the braids, I would suspect it's a female. (I was actually kinda hoping for a female elf character.)
