Completely agree. Roughshod, cut-and-paste ending. What was he thinking, "let's do a time jump".
Exactly, @MBZ901 . Kind of a letdown and cut-and-paste ending to a series with a significant cult following defining the 2010s AD.
Kazu, we shouldn't have rushed you.
Isn't "Ikol controlling Emily" symbolic of some kind of addiction or influence someone can have? That is how the series kind of wholesomely wraps up in a symbolic way.
I know I read the ending.
Geez, Kazu just wrapped up the story in like a 30-page narrative and time-jump. I expected it to be better, but also considering the fact he couldn't make absolute happy closure for the prologue (David dying) either.
And the art if VERY different from the rest of the series. The only book released in the 2020s after the longest hiatus, it seems like a reboot.
...So after 16 years Ikol gets blown away and return to Silas Charnon...
End of an era...
