I agree with the first statement. But Emily and Trellis only have a two year age gap (As of now, Trellis is 16 and Emily is 14). I know a lot of ships that have that difference.

Maybe adoption? The things that Moze's dad told him, that sounds a lot like what an older Trellis would say. "Don't get stuck in the past, focus on who you're going to be tomorrow."
I was about one and a half when the series first started. I found out about the series when book 7 came out.
Having them become canon would be amazing!

Haha! Well, I heard Trellis means latticework which is used to support vines and stuff. But some other people say it means pretty rose. So nothing stupid, really.
I check his twitter most days to see if there's any posts about the progress. There isn't much right now, but I'll let you all know if I see anything.
Oh yeah, I've noticed. It's probably just the author using changing his art style. By Book 6 he started to look more his age (around 14-16). I will admit he looks younger as the books progress, but he's still the same age. When I first read the series I took a look at Trellis in Book 4 and Book 6 and went "Am I sure these people are the same person?" I was 10, I wasn't thinking, don't judge ?.
So I checked Kazu's twitter looking for the latest post on Amulet, and came across this one he posted 2 days ago, https://twitter.com/boltcity/status/1285855874582327296. So yeah, he's getting closer day by day. He said that productions moves further on action scenes, so I'm guessing we're going to get quite a bit of action in Book 9. Adding on to what Kazu said, he said it's going to take a few months to finish the inking and all. But hey, it's quality over quantity. I'll let you know if I see anymore posts about the progression of the book!

I think it’s time we got back to the main subject at hand. When’s Book 9 coming out? I have seen a few people claiming that it will come out in 2020. And no, that is not true. According to a reply Kazu posted on Twitter yesterday, you will see that he said that Book 9 will not come out this year. If you want to see for yourself either download twitter or go on Google and search up “Kazu Kibuishi twitter”. From there, scroll down a bit and you should find the reply (I had trouble getting the link on here, so sorry about that). It sucks that we won’t get it this year. But it comes to show that he is putting in more effort to wrap this series up in a neat little bow. While he hasn’t confirmed a release date yet, judging by the time he’s taking, late 2021 is the most likely time Book 9 should be released. So, all we have to do is wait, hope for the best and for some of us (including me) see if our ships sail. Thank you for reading this one heck of a message. Enjoy the rest of your day/night!

What about Moze? Okay, here's three outcomes I think of. One, and this one is popular between a lot of fans, Trellis might be the dad and if that was the case Moze would be adopted. Two, Kazu throws in some random guy to make Moze's existence make sense. Three, Kazu just leaves Moze's father unsaid and leaves it up to us.

Oh my god! I’m totally with you there! I love Tremily and it would be devastating if any of the characters die (except Ikol f——- him).

Does anyone here ship Tremily (TrellisXEmily)? And if so, what kind of moments are you hoping that will happen between those two? But if you don't ship them, that's okay too.

Sure thing, buddy. You're allowed to believe whatever you want to believe. It's not like I'm against it, I just don't think that Trellis is going to die. But in your defense, there might be possibility he's not going to make it. A really low one in my opinion, but it's still there.

Don't forget the fact that he basically mindf---ed with just about every stonekeeper he's ever met, not just Trellis. And something tells me it's going to take more than just a chancla to beat Ikol. But seriously though, this is funny! I can't wait for book 9 and really hoping we get Tremily moments in that book!
